All of a sudden I realized since I had stopped singing and traveling, my only life was to support and keep my wife and children happy. I had no life of my own. Sure I would occasionally go fishing with a few friends, other than that, just working and going to church. For years I paid for her and the children to go on her sister vacation while I stayed home. April 24 2013, it all changed. Without warning I watched over 2/3 of my life disappear. For months my only thought of living was to not allow my children become orphans just yet. Well writing a book, articles, and blogs has seemed to be good therapy for me as it has allowed me to reflect on many good memories. Finally I can smile again. Not to mention very financially rewarding.
